Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the laboratory of Philip R. Hardwidge, in the Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology Department, at Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. The position responsibilities include performing microbiology experiments in support of several NIH/NIAID-funded projects on enterohemorrhagic and enterotoxigenic E. coli.
The successful candidates will have obtained a PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline, have published one or more meritorious first-author manuscripts, and have proven experience with animal models of infection, cell culture, chromatography, and/or molecular genetics.
