A position as postdoc in Plant Molecular Genetics is available at the Centre for Carbohydrate Recognition and Signalling, Department of Molecular Biology University of Aarhus, Denmark. The position is for a two year period starting from September 1st, 2013.
The postdoc will be part of a research group working on genetics of root nodule formation in the model legume Lotus japonicus. In this group the function of genes involved in cytokinin synthesis and signalling is a central theme. The postdoc is expected to continue the ongoing cloning and characterisation of genes mediating the cytokin response leading to root nodule development. Training and experience with general molecular biology techniques, gene characterisation and plant transformation is expected.
Applicants must have a relevant Ph.D. and additional experience from postdoctoral employment is an advantage.
