Neuroanatomy and Behavior
Dr. Thomas Finger is seeking an individual to carry out research on the mechanisms and central representation of sour taste and intraoral detection of acids. The project will involve brief access behavioral assays and functional anatomical analysis of brainstem taste nuclei as well as the possibility for chorda tympani and glossopharyngeal nerve recording. The position is available Fall 2013.
The Rocky Mountain Taste and Smell Center is a highly interactive, interdisciplinary group focusing on chemoreception. Competitive salary and benefits, and a desirable location near Denver, Colorado.
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. is required, and preference will be given to individuals with experience in neuroanatomy and/or neurophysiology.

Desired Qualifications
Experience with computer-aided image analysis is preferred using programs such as Matlab, ImageJ or Neurolucida.
