King's College London -Wolfson Centre for Age Related Diseases, Biomedical Sciences
The Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases, King’s College London wishes to appoint a highly motivated postdoc to carry out research investigating the role of mitochondria in chemotherapy-induced painful peripheral neuropathy. This two-year position will be held in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Flatters and will utilise a range of in vivo and ex vivo techniques.
Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant discipline with excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of neuroscience and/or mitochondrial function and signalling is highly desirable. Technical expertise with in vivo behavioural techniques and/or ex vivo mitochondria assays would be an advantage. Please include in your application a list of technical skills and publications.
The appointment will be made at Grade 6, currently £31,331 - £34,223 per annum, plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance, subject to skills, knowledge and experience.
