Department/University Information: Our institute (ITT) works in the fields of thermodynamics and thermal process engineering. The ITT is well positioned and recognized for research in molecular thermodynamics and molecular simulations. A recent extension to our research profile aims at measuring and predicting thermophysical properties in multicomponent mixtures and the application of these methods in separation processes. Special interest is given to the measuring of multicomponent diffusion coefficients using the "Dynamic Light Scattering"- and "Taylor-Dispersion"-Technique.
Requirements: The candidate holds a PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical or Process engineering or equivalent. He/she should have experience in spectroscopy, signal evaluation and optical setups. Proficiency in Thermodynamics is considered beneficial.
Purpose of Position: You will be a senior member of a research group, working in the area of physical properties and the further development of measurement techniques. You are given responsibility for administering and further developing part of the laboratories. State of the art measurement facilities are provided.
Our Offer: Salary is according to TV-L, with the benefits of public service. We initially offer the position for a period of two years.
