Postdoctoral positions are available at the University of British Columbia in biosynthetic chemistry. Applicants are welcome in disciplines ranging from chemistry to biology, with preference given to those with expertise in (1) natural products biosynthesis, (2) microbial genetics, (3) natural product isolation, (4) structural biology, (5) enzymology, and/or (6) synthetic biology. Research will be performed primarily in Katherine Ryan’s laboratory in the Department of Chemistry, with opportunities for collaboration with laboratories elsewhere on campus. UBC is a vibrant academic community, situated in beautiful Vancouver, with easy access to the ocean, mountains, and downtown.
