The Faculty of Law at University of Copenhagen wishes to appoint one or two postdoctoral fellows. The positions are within the research area of CEVIA (Centre for Enterprise Liability). The research centre focuses on the interplay between the public law and private law rules and perspectives in relation to enterprise liability. The positions are full time appointments for three years from October 1st, 2013, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The postdoc projects
The research that the postdoc is expected to contribute to, falls within one of the following framework projects of CEVIA:

Long-term private and public contracts – flexibility and stability

Sustainability, responsibility and enterprise liability

Welfare services, privatisation, and the liability of private and public enterprises

Background
The positions are advertised to strengthen the private-public law perspective within CEVIAs research as a Danish Council for Independent Research | Social Sciences (FSE) research entity. The aim of the research entity is to focus on private enterprises impact and liability in society today, including the relation between private and public enterprises.
The postdoc is expected to contribute to the implementation of the framework projects of the centre through publishing at international level as well as organising conferences and workshops.
Furthermore, the postdoc is expected to contribute appropriately to applications for external funding for further research activities within the centre.
Qualifications
The successful candidatemust hold a PhD or equivalent qualifications in law. It is considered an advantage if the applicant has insights into theoretical and empirical methods that are relevant for the research within the general research area of the centre.
Terms of employment
The position is limited to three years.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement, between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations, on academics in the State.
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
