A postdoctoral position is available to study the molecular mechanism of learning and memory processes (synaptic function, synaptic connectivity/circuitry) at the Technische Universität Braunschweig in the group of Prof. Dr. Martin Korte (department of cellular neurobiology). Furthermore the group is interested in mechanisms of neurodegeneration and processes of neuroinflammation. Therefore the candidate should have a PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience or related field and experience in using electrophysiological techniques, specially patch clamp and brain slice recordings.
