POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN CANCER CELL SIGNALING

A 2 years postdoctoral position will be available in the Immunology and Infectious Diseases Unit / Laboratory of thrombosis and hemostasis at GIGA-R (Starting October 1st 2013)
Applicant will be invited to work on the role of the tyrosine phosphatase DUSP3/VHR in macrophages and tumour letastasis. The project will involve working on mice models.
The candidate will join the IID laboratories at the GIGA-R located in Liège University hospital. The state-of-the-art facilities of GIGA-R include an operational BSL-3 and 5 BSL- facilities, and SFP transgenic animal facility, and in-house core facilities for bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics and imaging.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Molecular/Cellular Biology or equivalent and are expected to have a strong background in cellular biology and cell signaling, to be highly motivated, creative and capable of contributing productively in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in animal models. The position is available for 2 years and can be renewed for 2 additional years.
