Postdoctoral Research in Prostate Cancer Biology
Applications are invited for a full time Post-Doctoral position in the Greenebaum Cancer Center, University of Maryland, Baltimore campus. Candidates possessing Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology or health-related fields are eligible to apply. Successful candidate will work on the mechanisms of E3 ubiquitin ligase or histone demethylase in the development and progression of prostate cancer. He/she will be working in a group of basic and clinical research scientists and collaborators. Preference will be given to those who have worked in the field of biochemistry, cell biology, or cancer biology. Candidates are expected to have first-hand experience in cell culture, transfection/transduction, and basic biochemical and cell biology techniques (e.g. recombinant DNA, western blot, real-time PCR, chromatin immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry). Experience in handling mice is desired but not required.
