Our independent, non-profit research institute (La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, San Diego, CA) is currently seeking a highly motivated researcher for an immediate opening in the laboratory of Dr. Nunzio Bottini. The laboratory specializes in tyrosine phosphatases and in their role in autoimmune and rheumatologic diseases. The research project will require the use of a combination of approaches ranging from molecular and cellular biology to assessment of mouse models of disease. The position is available immediately. Postdoctoral candidates must have obtained within the last three years or be close to obtaining a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Molecular/Cellular Biology, or a related field. At least one first author publication in international peer-reviewed journal(s) is required.
