The Center for Materials Crystallography at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) is seeking candidates for two post-doctoral positions both starting January 1st 2014 and ending December 31st 2015.
The candidate for the first position is required to have strong expertise in X-ray electron density determination, neutron diffraction and crystallographic software and hardware. The successful candidate will be involved in synchrotron and neutron crystallographic investigations of new materials in collaboration with other members of the Center for Materials Crystallography.
The candidate for the second position is required to have a strong background in materials chemistry with expertise in synthesis, powder X-ray diffraction (including structure solution) and total scattering (PDF analysis). The successful candidate will be involved in in-situ synchrotron studies of solvothermal reactions in collaboration with other members of the Center for Materials Crystallography.
Both candidates must have a PhD in crystallography or materials chemistry.
The Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) (www.inano.au.dk) is a major research and education center based at Aarhus University and Aalborg University. The center currently undertakes interdisciplinary research involving scientists from relevant areas in physics, chemistry, molecular biology, biology, engineering, and medicine. iNANO offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment with many industrial, national and international collaborators.
