In our lab, we are interested in constructing the genetic map of rice plants. As the QTL analysis of agronomy characters using genetic map and development of plant molecular marker related environmental stress in rice. we have make several populations about NIL, Doubled Haplody for further reverse functional genomics studies.
The successful applicant for this job will be involved in
1) working some general functional genomics research by using general molecular biology techniques (genotyping, RT-PCR, western blotting, gateway cloning system, protein work, etc).
2) managing basic bioinformatics study and plant growth job.
3) designing experiments and writing a paper independently (preferred).
