Postdoctoral Research Position in Epidemiology Description: The USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University (HNRCA) investigators conduct advanced studies on nutrition and aging. Their research focuses on determining the optimal nutrient profile necessary to promote well-being for older adults and prevent the major chronic conditions of aging. A post-doctoral associate position is immediately available in the USDA HNRCA to pursue a project addressing the epidemiology of age-related eye disease.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or related field, or have an MD with a master’s degree in public health, epidemiology or biostatistics. The successful candidate will be independent and motivated with a track record of SCI publications. Strong quantitative and programming skills are required. Candidates must have an experience in analyses of epidemiologic data using SAS, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in bioinformatics is a plus.
