Grade 7: £32,267 – £36,298 per annum
With typically 5 years research experience in the field of stem cell biology and/or haematopoiesis incorporating 1-2 years’ post-doctoral experience, you will conduct, manage and publish research in line with the objectives of the project and with the overall objectives of the Wellcome Trust funded project to generate human red blood cells for transfusion.
Possessing a PhD in stem cell biology and/or haematopoiesis and experience in the culture of human pluripotent stem cells or primary haematopoietic cells, you will lead on the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells to red blood cells – including human pluripotent stem cell culture, directed differentiation to haematopoietic lineages, analysis of cell populations and the assessment of culture technologies to facilitate production at large scale.
