A 24 months post-doctoral fellowship position is available (starting the latest: 1st of September2014), at the “Leucémogenèse et Facteur de Transcription Spi ” lab team located at Gustave-Roussy Institute in Villejuif, in vicinity of Paris (Laboratory U985-Inserm, Génétique des tumeurs directed by O. Bernard).
Our group is interested in deciphering the molecular and biochemical mechanisms involved in leukemic progression.
The general objectives of the project are to determine how TFs influence the epigenetic landscape, what are the consequences of this epigenetic landscape on RNA processing and how the deregulation of specific function of transcription factors linked to epigenetics leads to specific acute myeloid leukemia.
The biologist candidate we are seeking is a highly motivated and autonomous candidate with appropriate skills in molecular biology and experience in chromatin structure, epigenetic regulation and regulation of gene expression, with a strong interest for mechanistic biology. He should be able to deal with highthrouput genomic data (Chip-seq, RNA-seq, CLIP-seq, expression microarrays) and will work with bioinformaticians. This project includes theoretical and experimental biology. Experience in cancer and/or hematopoiesis project is desired.
Interested applicants should email his/her Curriculum Vitae (including the previous fundings), motivation letter, two letters of references and names and tel number of the two referees. …
