Job Description
Lund University is the largest institution of research and higher education in Sweden. The Lund Stem Cell Center is a strong international research center with a focus on stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. The center consists of twenty research groups and offers a collaborative and stimulating research environment with state-of-the-art core facilities and regular seminars in the fields of developmental biology, neurobiology, hematopoiesis and cancer stem cells.
We are recruiting a highly motivated and collaborative postdoctoral fellow to join our new team.
Candidates with a strong background in hematopoiesis, mouse work, molecular biology, or oncology are encouraged to apply. The project will focus on identification and targeting of leukemic stem cells.
Approaches will include in vivo methods, flow cytometry, expression profiling, molecular biology, bioinformatics and biochemistry.
Priority will be given to candidates with advanced experience in several of these techniques as well as newly graduated PhDs. A PhD degree and good verbal and written communication skills in English are required for consideration.
