Postdoc, Cell-penetrating Antibodies in Cancer Therapy, Yale School of Medicine : New Haven, CT, United States
Applications are invited for an open position as a postdoctoral research associate in the Hansen lab at Yale School of Medicine.
The Hansen lab focuses on identification, development, and optimization of novel cell-penetrating antibodies for use in molecular therapy. In particular, the lupus anti-DNA autoantibody 3E10 is a key focus of our work. The 3E10 antibody penetrates cell nuclei, binds DNA, inhibits DNA repair, and is selectively toxic to cancer cells with certain key defects in DNA repair. We are now further developing this antibody for use against cancer. For additional information regarding our work please see the following papers:

Candidates must have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD and significant experience and expertise in cell culture and protein biochemistry techniques, including protein purification.
