A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Fabio Re ) in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology of The Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The focus of the lab is host-pathogen interaction with particular emphasis on mechanisms of activation of the inflammasome and TLR by pathogens and regulation of microbiota. Qualifications: The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated and hard-working. Interested candidates must have a pending or recent Ph.D. degree with a very strong background in immunology or microbiology. Prior experience with mouse models is desirable, though not required.
