時(shí)間:2017-09-14來源:未知 作者:91boshi

Context:
World leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 80 countries with approximately 65,000 employees and serves more than 3 million customers and patients. Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are essential small molecules for life, matter and energy. They embody Air Liquide’s scientific territory and have been at the core of the company’s activities since its creation in 1902.
Air Liquide’s ambition is to lead its industry, deliver long term performance and contribute to sustainability. The company’s customer- centric transformation strategy aims at profitable growth over the long term. It relies on operational excellence, selective investments, open innovation and a network organization implemented by the Group worldwide. Through the commitment and inventiveness of its people, Air Liquide leverages energy and environment transition, changes in healthcare and digitization, and delivers greater value to all its stakeholders.

Mission:
In the field of gas storage, majority of gases are stored in cylinders under high pressure. An interesting alternative would be to store gases at low pressure using specifically designed adsorbent materials. In addition, the production of gases requires gas separation techniques (cryogenic distillation, membrane-based and adsorption based separation) and the development of new adsorbents could lead to significant improvement of separation processes. The recent progress in materials, particularly microporous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) makes these materials very attractive for gas separation and gas storage.
During your mission, you will join a collaborative project between Air Liquide and the groups of Pr. R. Matsuda (http://www.apchem.nagoya-u.ac.jp/15-OUKA-7/matsudalab/Eindex.html, Nagoya U.) and Pr. S. Kitagawa (http://www.kitagawa.icems.kyoto-u.ac.jp, Kyoto U.). Within these internationally recognized laboratories in the field of MOFs, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Design and synthesize MOFs for different gas adsorption applications
- Evaluate adsorption performance of synthesized materials in relevant conditions
- Interact with local R&D center where adsorbent characterization will be partly done
- Ensure industrial compatibility of developed solutions

Candidate profile:
- PhD in organic or metal complex chemistry, inorganic or materials chemistry
- Autonomous with good interpersonal communication skills
- Prior experience with MOFs is a plus
- Prior experience in adsorption measurements is a plus
- English language is mandatory
