Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Embryology:
Understanding the impact of LINE1 retrotransposition on development
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Alex Bortvin at the Carnegie Institution for Science, Department of Embryology.
An ideal candidate will be a creative individual with an expertise in molecular and cellular biology, and a strong interest in genomics approaches who will investigate mechanisms of cytotoxicity of intermediates of LINE1 retrotransposition on mouse somatic and germ cells of both sexes.
