Job Description
A funded postdoctoral fellowship is available in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Wood at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Research on mechanisms of DNA repair and DNA polymerases will be carried out in the Department of Epigenetics and Molecular Carcinogenesis in Smithville. The department (near Austin, TX) is one of MD Anderson’s largest and most successful fundamental research departments. Requirements:
Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. degree in biochemistry or a highly related field, one or more first-authored publications in highly regarded scientific journals, and proven proficiency in written and spoken English. Experience with mammalian cell culture and protein purification is an advantage.
