The Division of Biology at Kansas State University invites applications for a postdoctoral position investigating miRNA-mediated gene regulation in the laboratory of Dr. Anna Zinovyeva. Our laboratory uses a combination of genetic, genomic, molecular, and biochemical approaches to address questions related to miRNA biogenesis and function. The lab primarily uses C. elegans as a model system, expanding into tissue culture. The applicants should have a PhD or be in the process of completing their PhD. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a record of productivity as demonstrated through research publications. Excellent communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and strong molecular background/skills are essential. Start date and duration of position are flexible. Both US and international applicants are encouraged to apply.
