Postdoctoral Position at Washington University (St. Louis, MO), C. Elegans Redox Biology and Signaling
Postdoc Position
A joint postdoctoral position is open immediately in the laboratories of Drs. Jason Held and Kerry Kornfeld at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. The position will focus on investigating the key aspects of redox biology that govern C. elegans lifespan extension signaling with an emphasis on utilizing cutting edge optogenetic tools. Individuals with a strong background in C. elegans biology, especially aspects related to lifespan and stress response signaling, as well as molecular biology and genetics are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with redox biology and optogenetics is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
PhD in related field: redox biology, geroscience, cell signaling, metabolism or related field.
