　　The Frock laboratory in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University is recruiting talented Postdoctoral Fellows with a strong interest in mechanisms of DNA double-stranded break (DSB) repair and chromosomal translocations. We employ a high-throughput genome-wide translocation sequencing technology, HTGTS, which use Cas9/gRNA endonucleases in developing lymphocyte model systems. Ideal for candidates with experience in cell culture and molecular biology and for those seeking to strengthen their expertise in DNA DSB repair, DNA sequence bioinformatics, genome editing methodologies.

　　The position appointment term will be for 1 year and can be renewable on an annual basis based on performance; one of two positions will include support for 1 year on an NIH T32 training grant if the candidate is a US citizen or resident. Salary will be determined based on applicant experience and in accordance with University guidelines for Postdoctoral Fellows.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　• PhD in Biochemistry, Genetics, or relevant discipline.

　　• Productive record of research and publication.

　　• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

　　• Capable of working effectively with collaborators.
