Job Description
A post-doctoral position is immediately available in Dr Glitho’s research group, at CIISE, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. The group (https://users.encs.concordia.ca/~tse/) focuses on Network Softwarization with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Internet of Things (IoT), and Tactile Internet as key application areas. Our main industrial partners are Ericsson and Cisco Systems.
The requirements are as follows:
1. Recent PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related areas.
2. Strong software architectures design / implementation / prototyping skills and/or algorithms design / implementation skills
3. Publications in high impact journals and well known conference proceedings
4. Hands-on experience / expertise in some of the following areas:
Cloud / fog computing
Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
Software Defined Networks (SDN)
Internet of Things (IoT)
Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Tactile Internet
