Performs basic research duties under the supervision/direction of a Physician (Principal Investigator).
Our lab is part of a multidisciplinary research organization focused on nanotechnology solutions to overcome biologic barriers and improve drug delivery to tumors. We are specifically investigating the immunologic effects of heated chemotherapy delivered into the abdomen (HIPEC) and development of nanoparticle platforms for this procedure (cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC) used to treat cancers that originate or spread to the abdominal cavity.
