A postdoc position is available in the group of Dr. Subhajyoti De at Rutgers Cancer Institute, Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA.
Dr. De's laboratory uses genomics and computational approaches to investigate aspects of tumor evolutionary dynamics. The group has particular interest in studying tumor heterogeneity, genomic instability, and tumor systems biology, and the candidate is expected to contribute to high impact, cutting edge projects in one or more of these areas. The candidate must have a PhD, and relevant training and experience in single cell genomics, cancer biology, or molecular biology and also high computational proficiency in genomic data analysis using Python, R on high-performance computing clusters. First author publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant areas are required. Applicants must have effective communication, team working, problem solving skills, and adaptability to changes in technological and scientific directions.
