　　Postdoctoral Scholar – Cancer Metabolism

　　Position Highlights:

　　We have an opening for a postdoctoral scholar in cancer metabolism research. The candidate will be joining a collaborative research environment between the Labs of Eric Haura and John Cleveland at The Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. We are looking for a highly motivated and independent postdoctoral research fellow who is interested in working on a project related to metabolic vulnerabilities in small cell lung cancer.

　　The Ideal Candidate:

　　Successful candidates will have a publication track record demonstrating a strong background in cancer metabolism or cellular metabolism and interests in translational research. Prior experience is required with some of the following techniques: mammalian cell culture, cell based viability assays, metabolite and metabolic enzymatic assays, immunoblot analysis, flow cytometry analysis, Seahorse metabolic flux analysis, metabolic radiolabeling assays, mass spectrometry-based metabolomic measurement and tracing assays, and in vivo mouse work. Candidates with prior research experience in cellular metabolism of cancer will be given preference.

　　Responsibilities:

　　This individual will design, conduct and interpret correlative experiments using human lung cancer cell lines, mouse models, and human tumor samples. This individual will identify and validate predicted vulnerabilities from existing proteomic and metabolomics data. The candidate will join a productive, energetic team of molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, and clinicians within our group.

　　Credentials and Qualifications:

　　M.D. or PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or relevant field.
