Postdoctoral Scholar in Inner Ear Regeneration

The Dabdoub Laboratory is seeking an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to lead research on mechanisms of inner ear development and regeneration. Areas of interest include auditory neuron regeneration, cochlear and vestibular hair cell regeneration, and stria vascularis atrophy and regeneration.
Applicants must be highly motivated and have a recent PhD with 0 – 2 years of postdoctoral research experience and a strong track record in research in the field of neurobiology, molecular cell biology, or related field including first author high-quality scientific publications. Experience in transcriptomics and/or bioinformatics is highly preferred. Candidates are expected to be fairly independent in the areas of experimental design, data gathering and analysis as well as manuscript and grant preparation. Applicants must have excellent written and oral English communication skills, as well as strong presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse and collaborative research and training environment.
