　　Summary Description:

　　POSTDOCTORAL SCIENTIST position available to perform NIH-funded research on the genetic and developmental aspects of kidney diseases in humans and mouse models. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing standardized in vitro and cellular assays for studying the pathogenesis of developmental kidney disease and will also be expected to characterize animal models of congenital nephropathy. The candidate will also employ genomics and bioinformatics approaches in large datasets derived from whole genome-sequencing and expression studies to identify susceptibility genes and molecular networks underlying developmental disorders of the urinary tract. Through this project, the candidate will become proficient and autonomous in genomics studies of human and mammalian kidney development.
