Postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Radhika Subramanian at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston,USA
A position is available in the laboratory of Radhika Subramanian for a postdoc who is enthusiastic about examining cytoskeletal-based signaling mechanisms underlying cell division or Hedgehog signal transduction (https://molbio.mgh.harvard.edu/laboratories/subramanian). The successful candidate will use multi-wavelength TIRFmicroscopy assays to reconstitute signaling reactions that are templated on cytoskeletal structures. We are a small group of researchers from diverse backgrounds with interests ranging from applied physics, biochemistry, cell and structural biology. The lab has a highly collaborative environment. We invite applications from candidates with a keen interest in conducting multi-component reconstitution-based assays with quantitative biochemistry and single-molecule visualization methods.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment and have a solid background in protein biochemistry, quantitative biophysical methods and/or single-molecule methods. Experience with fluorescence microscopy is not required but welcome.
