　　TheMRCLaboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) is a world leader in biological research, with an expanding scientific programme dedicated to understanding gene function in health and disease. It provides an unsurpassed environment for both young and established researchers. Scientists are drawn to the LMB from all over the world, creating a lively and international community for the exchange of ideas and technical innovation.

　　We are looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Scientist to join the MRC LMB PNACDivision as a Laboratory Automation Specialist. You will take a leading role in the rapid design, execution and analysis of high-throughput experiments, developing and validating automated workflows, for otherwise complex manual protocols, in response to diverse and evolving challenges.

　　You should have a PhD in a relevant biological subject, and have extensive practical experience of molecular biology. Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a group are essential.

　　The successful candidate will be awarded a 3 year fixed term Postdoctoral Training Scheme/Career Development Fellowship position. The fellowship is a training and development position for a Postdoctoral Scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies, or is moving into a new research discipline.
