　　我們正在尋找一位積極進取的博士后研究員，加入弗吉尼亞聯(lián)邦大學(xué)飛利浦研究所和梅西癌癥中心的孫博士實驗室（https://dentistry.vcu.edu/contacts/profile/yue-sun/）。我們實驗室的研究重點是癌癥進展過程中的異常信號事件和微環(huán)境調(diào)節(jié)。目前，我們對磷酸肌醇信號和受體酪氨酸激酶信號在口腔癌中的作用特別感興趣。這項研究將導(dǎo)致新型抗癌療法的發(fā)展。這項工作將涉及細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)、生化特性、功能細(xì)胞生物學(xué)分析和轉(zhuǎn)基因小鼠模型。

　　Postdoctoral Position

　　We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Sun (https://dentistry.vcu.edu/contacts/profile/yue-sun/) at Philips Institute & Massey Cancer Center, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). The research in our laboratory focuses on the abnormal signaling events and micro-environmental regulation in cancer progression. Currently, we are particularly interested in the role of phosphoinositide signaling and Receptor Tyrosine Kinases signaling in oral cancer. This research will lead to the development of novel anti-cancer therapies. The work will involve cell culture, biochemical characterization, functional cell biology assay, and transgenic mice models.

　　Our team is integrated into the Cancer Cell Signaling Program at our NCI-designated Cancer Center. This opportunity is ideal for postdocs who are interested in basic cancer research.

　　VCU is located at Richmond, Virginia, in the east coast of United States and is close to Washington, D.C.

　　Qualifications:

　　· PhD in molecular biology, cell Biology, biochemistry or related area.

　　· Highly motivated with hands on experience on various molecular biology, protein chemistry, cell biology, and cancer biology experiments.

　　· Hands on experience on dark-field, fluorescence, and confocal microscopes.

　　· Prior experience in mouse xenograft or transgenic models is a plus point but not required.

　　· The candidate is expected to play an active and collaborative role in the lab and the department.
