　　在計算生物學和結(jié)構(gòu)生物信息學領(lǐng)域，疫苗研究中心多學科研究環(huán)境的一部分結(jié)構(gòu)生物信息學核心部分（SBIS）提供了博士后校內(nèi)研究培訓獎（IRTA）職位。

　　SBIS的主要目標是協(xié)助設(shè)計疫苗和抗艾滋病毒和其他病毒（如流感和呼吸道合胞病毒）的抗體療法。所選候選人將與實驗部門廣泛合作，開發(fā)計算疫苗和抗體設(shè)計的新方法。候選人應具備生物信息學和計算化學方面的知識，精通C或C++和Python或Perl。此外，他或她將在以下至少四個計算領(lǐng)域有經(jīng)驗：

　　Postdoctoral IRTA Position

　　Structural Bioinformatics Core Section, Vaccine Research Center, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases

　　A postdoctoral intramural research training award (IRTA) position is available in the Structural Bioinformatics Core Section (SBIS), part of a multidisciplinary research environment at the Vaccine Research Center, in the areas of computational biology and structural bioinformatics.

　　The main objective of the SBIS is to assist in designing vaccines and antibody therapeutics against HIV and other viruses such as influenza and respiratory syncytial viruses. The selected candidate will collaborate extensively with experimental sections to develop new methods for computational vaccine and antibody design. The candidate should have knowledge in bioinformatics and computational chemistry and proficiency in C or C++ and in Python or Perl. In addition, he or she will have prior experience in at least four of the following computation areas:

　　·         Computational protein design

　　·         Molecular dynamics simulation of glycoproteins

　　·         Homology modeling

　　·         Protein docking

　　·         Machine learning/data mining

　　·         Biostatistics

　　Trainees will receive a stipend commensurate with their experience and health insurance benefits. Successful applicants should be highly self-motivated and have a recent doctoral degree (obtained within last five years) in bioinformatics, computational chemistry, or a closely related field from a U.S. or foreign university. Applicants may be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; for a visiting fellowship, visa requirements apply.
