　　A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available now for a qualified scientist to join the laboratory of Dr. Eduardo Davila in the Tumor Host Interactions Program and the Human Immunology and Immunotherapy Initiative at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Davila’s research team focuses on developing novel genetic and drug-based platforms that enhance and maintain T cell responses towards weakly immunogenic and lowly expressed tumor antigens as well as strategies to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment to restore anti-tumor T cell responses. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and develop projects and perform independent experiments.

　　Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences is required.

　　Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in cancer immunology, cloning and genetic engineering, tumor-microenvironment interactions, flow cytometry, and cell culture are required. Knowledge in cancer immunology, molecular and cell biology, and biochemistry are essential. The incumbent will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneous; to design and perform experiments, develop and learn new techniques, critically interpret experimental results, and present data; to participate in the preparation of grant applications and publications.

　　Preferred Qualifications: A track record of peer-reviewed scientific publication and experience in T cell-based therapy is preferred; Experience in handling mice, multi-parameter flow cytometry.
