　　Position 1: Postdoctoral Scholar in Computational Condensed Matter Physics of Transport in Weyl Semimetals at HarvardSEAS.

　　Prof. Prineha Narang (Harvard) and Prof. Claudia Felser (Director, MPI Chemical Physics of Solids/Harvard) are jointly recruiting a postdoctoral scholar broadly on predicting properties of Weyl semimetals with a start date of Fall 2019. This position is a full-time two-year appointment, renewable for a third year by mutual agreement.

　　The successful candidate, by working closely between theory/computation and experimental efforts on Weyl semimetals, will uncover the unique electronic, optoelectronic and transport properties of these materials. Ideal candidates will have a background in computational physics of materials including development of new methods and thorough knowledge of existing methods. Experience with programming languages and scientific high-performance computing is preferred. A Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, materials science or similar is expected by the start date.

　　Position 2: Postdoctoral Scholar in Computational Materials Chemistry of Topological Materials at Harvard SEAS.

　　Prof. Prineha Narang (Harvard) and Prof. Claudia Felser (Director, MPI Chemical Physics of Solids/Harvard) are jointly recruiting a postdoctoral scholar on topics in computational topological materials science with a start date of Fall 2019. This position is a full-time two-year appointment, renewable for a third year by mutual agreement.

　　The ideal candidate will have interests across prediction of new classes of topological materials, incorporating ideas from materials chemistry in structure-property relationships and guiding experimental efforts, both synthesis and characterization. Successful candidates will have background in materials and quantum chemistry including development of new theoretical and computational methods. Experience with programming languages and scientific high-performance computing is preferred. A Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical physics, materials science, physics, applied physics, or similar is expected by the start date.
