A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in the Wen Jiang lab at the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study cancer immunotherapy and tumor microenvironment. Research in the Jiang lab covers several aspects of cancer immunology and biomedical engineering using nanomaterials, including immune regulation (J Clin Invest 2018, Nature Rev Drug Discovery 2017, Nature Rev Immunology 2018), tumor microenvironment and biomarker discovery (Trends in Cancer 2017), cancer drug delivery (ACS Nano 2015, Adv Science 2019), and Immune nanomedicine (Nature Nanotechnology 2017, Nature Biomedical Engineering 2018, Nature Nanotechnology 2008, Nano Letters 2018).
Candidates should be highly motivated in scientific research. Candidates must have a PhD or MD degree. The ideal candidate should have research experience in cancer immunotherapy. Research techniques of flow cytometry and animal models are required. Candidates with background of cancer biology, immunology, or molecular biology are preferred.
