　　Job description:

　　Researchers at the subinstitute "Cognitive Neuroscience" (INM-3) investigate the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive (dys-)function in healthy subjects and patients suffering from neurological disorders. Functional imaging and electrophysiological methods are combined with computational approaches. The successful candidate will be part of the "Cognitive Neurophysiology" group under the supervision of Dr. Kathrin Ohla. The group investigates gustatory processing and perception in health and disease.

　　Your Job:

　　·         Planning and implementation of research studies and analysis of multimodal data (psychophysics, intracranial recordings/M/EEG or fMRI)

　　·         Implementation/validation of stimulation and analysis approaches (e.g. time-series analysis, multivariate pattern analysis, behavioral modeling)

　　·         Presentation and publication of the results

　　·         Interaction with team members and collaborators from Psychology, Medicine, Engineering and Computational Neuroscience

　　Your Profile:

　　·         Completed study in Computational, cognitive or systems Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology or a related field including a doctoral degree

　　·         Excellent statistical & programming skills (Python and/or Matlab)

　　·         Advanced data analysis skills (e.g. time-series analysis, MVPA)

　　·         Prior experience with M/EEG or fMRI or psychophysics

　　·         Strong interest in experimental research

　　·         Excellent verbal and written forms of expression in English
