Description:
The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the laboratory of Dr. Natalia Nieto. Research will be focused on Liver Diseases.
Duties:
Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in the following areas:
Liver immunology
Cholangiocarcinoma
Cholangiocyte biology
Enterohepatic circulation
Cholesterol metabolism
A solid background in liver disease along with a strong publication record and good spoken and written English are essential to apply for this job.
Qualifications:
PhD awarded within last 5 years required.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their CV, an interview, their ability of writing an innovative research project and three reference letters from Faculty members directly involved in the supervision of the candidate, one of which should be from their PhD Thesis advisor.
