美國(guó)圣朱迪兒童醫(yī)院招收博士后
Two postdoctoral positions are available for motivated candidates at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a premier center for biomedical investigation located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Our group has contributed to the discovery of ubiquitin code (Cell 2009) and numerous novel pathways in Alzheimer’s disease (Neuron 2020). The successful applicant will have an opportunity to use a range of approaches, including mass spectrometry, single-cell proteomics, CRISPR and organoids to explore the pathogenesis of cancer or neurodegenerative diseases. The overarching aim is to study complex molecular interactions by chemistry, genetics and systems biology, providing novel insights into disease development, therapeutic intervention, and biomarker discovery for precision medicine (https://www.stjude.org/peng). Our postdoctoral fellows have extensive interaction with other members for career development in cutting-edge technologies and biomedical research. Numerous alumni become principal investigators. Our publications are available on Google Scholar (180+ publications, 23,000+ citations). St. Jude is a top ranked hospital (#1 for pediatric cancer specialty in U.S. in 2017) and a world-class basic research institute with about 300 faculty members. St. Jude postdoctoral fellows are provided with a highly competitive salary (median $56,000) in an affordable city, a professional development allowance ($2,500), and an array of benefits, including sign-on bonus ($3,000), health, dental and vision coverage, and a retirement program.
The candidate shall have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biology, computer science or a related field or a M.D. degree. Experience in PROTAC/molecular glues, CRISPR/mouse genetics, stem cells/organoids, systems biology is preferred but not required. Candidates must have an excellent publication record. Please submit CV, three references, a brief statement regarding previous work and future goals to Dr. Junmin Peng (junmin.peng@stjude.org), Member (Full Professor) in Departments of Structural Biology and Developmental Neurobiology, Director of Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
