Salary
£27511 to £30942 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £30,942 with relevant PhD).
Applications are invited for the above post based in the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre ( CBTRC ), School of Medicine within the Biodiscovery Institute (BDI).
The project will be led from the University of Nottingham’s flagship BDI, which has undergone a £23M expansion and comprises a £100M interdisciplinary complex of four interconnected buildings to locate 800 staff at the heart of main campus. BDI is surrounded by science hubs and a direct link bridge to the Queen’s Medical Centre, which is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe and houses the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit.
The position will be particularly suited to candidates who wish to be apply their expertise to challenging unmet clinical needs in a translational clinical research environment. The candidate will have strong support from the School of Pharmacy’s nationally-leading Polymer Therapeutics team but will be expected to be capable of independent experiments and troubleshooting.
This is a fixed-term post available until 31 March 2023. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
