Job Description
Research Associate (Fixed Term)
A position has become available for a postdoctoral research associate with a strong background in processing electrophysiological signals (LFP/EEG) in the Voon lab.
The candidate will focus on resting and task-based network connectomics. The appointed candidate must be proficient in programming with a background in engineering, physics, neuroscience or psychology. The candidate will be involved in analyses of existing neurophysiological data sets (local field potentials, EEG, sEEG). The candidate will have the opportunity to work on developing new studies and analysing and writing up existing studies. The candidate will work at the University of Cambridge and have the opportunity to work closely with collaborators in Shanghai, China, in neurosurgery, neuromodulation, imaging and machine learning. The candidate must be willing and able to travel. The University of Cambridge offers access to the international excellence of Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre with 3T (Siemens Prisma and Skyra) and 7T (Siemens Terra) MRI and PET-MR (GE) with additional departmental facilities for TMS and M/EEG and access to the University's high performance hub for informatics (HPHI) and advanced analytics. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with an active neuroscience community in basic and clinical sciences.
