The TUM Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) is a globally visible interdisciplinary research center for machine intelligence, which is the integration of robotics, artificial intelligence, and perception. Its three central application focuses are the future of health, the future of work, and the future of mobility. More than 50 professors from various TUM faculties cooperate within the framework of MIRMI.
Description
We are looking for an EXCELLENT Postdoc to participate in the MIRMI teaching mission. This position is at least 70% teaching. Please consider applying if you have a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field. We are particularly looking for individuals with experience in some of the following areas:
Robot Control & Telepresence
Haptic interfaces and tactile feedback
Mechatronic system design
System and topology optimization
Your responsibilities as a postdoc may include (but are not limited to):
Participating in the teaching of multiple courses.
Establishing and supervising Remote Machine Intelligence Experience Center for Training & Education.
Run and supervise Intelligent Machine Design Lab course.
Supporting the mechatronic development of several robotic systems.
Supporting publication submissions, research proposals, and prototype demonstrations
