腦科學(xué)與智能技術(shù)卓越中心（CEBSIT，http://english.cebsit.cas.cn/），前身為神經(jīng)科學(xué)研究所（ION），是一個(gè)跨學(xué)科的多機(jī)構(gòu)組織，旨在通過組建協(xié)作研究團(tuán)隊(duì)來鞏固中國科學(xué)院實(shí)驗(yàn)室的現(xiàn)有研究實(shí)力。這些團(tuán)隊(duì)將解決腦科學(xué)以及涉及大腦啟發(fā)計(jì)算方法和設(shè)備的智能技術(shù)中的主要前沿問題。

由Vishal Kapoor博士領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的視覺認(rèn)知神經(jīng)動(dòng)力學(xué)研究組 (Laboratory of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition) 開設(shè)了實(shí)驗(yàn)室管家職位。實(shí)驗(yàn)室的主要研究方向是了解意識(shí)感知和認(rèn)知背后的神經(jīng)機(jī)制，通過靈長類動(dòng)物的視覺系統(tǒng)，利用最先進(jìn)的電生理學(xué)和計(jì)算工具來理解神經(jīng)活動(dòng)與主觀感知和行為的關(guān)系。

職位描述： 

1.負(fù)責(zé)實(shí)驗(yàn)室管理的各個(gè)方面。包括實(shí)驗(yàn)室人員的管理和培訓(xùn)，引導(dǎo)新實(shí)驗(yàn)室人員，進(jìn)行設(shè)備和試劑的采購及維護(hù)，以及為實(shí)驗(yàn)室人員進(jìn)行旅行安排。

2.負(fù)責(zé)管理所有實(shí)驗(yàn)室資源，以確保實(shí)驗(yàn)室高效運(yùn)行。

3.負(fù)責(zé)處理PI認(rèn)為適當(dāng)?shù)娜魏纹渌麑?shí)驗(yàn)室相關(guān)事宜，包括為訪問科學(xué)家和學(xué)生尋找住所，與其他實(shí)驗(yàn)室協(xié)調(diào)設(shè)備使用和共享等。  

4.候選人將有機(jī)會(huì)參與各級(jí)研究活動(dòng)，包含實(shí)驗(yàn)準(zhǔn)備，招募被試、數(shù)據(jù)收集以及預(yù)處理。

資質(zhì)與要求： 

1.管理，生命科學(xué)，獸醫(yī)，神經(jīng)科學(xué)或相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的學(xué)士（或更高）學(xué)位。

2.優(yōu)秀的中英文口語、閱讀和寫作能力。

3.良好的溝通和人際交往能力。

4.熟練使用基本的計(jì)算機(jī)程序（包括Microsoft Office）。能夠用其他語言編程者優(yōu)先考慮。

5.能夠獨(dú)立有效地工作，具有良好的職業(yè)道德和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。

6.有實(shí)驗(yàn)室管家、研究助理工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先考慮。

7.實(shí)驗(yàn)室方法的經(jīng)驗(yàn)是可取的，但不是必需的。

Lab manager position in the lab of Dr. Vishal Kapoor

The Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CEBSIT, http://english.cebsit.cas.cn/), formerly known as the Institute of Neuroscience (ION), is a cross-disciplinary, multi-institutional organization that aims to consolidate existing research strength of CAS laboratories via the formation of collaborative research teams. These teams will address major frontier questions in brain science as well as in intelligence technology that involves brain-inspired computing methods and devices. 

Now a lab manager position is open in the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition, led by Dr. Vishal Kapoor. The major focus of the lab is to understand the neural mechanisms underlying conscious perception and cognition. This is investigated in the visual system of primates, utilizing state of the art electrophysiological and computational tools in order to understand the relationship of neural activity to subjective perception and behavior. 

Position Description: 

1.  The key responsibilities of the candidate will be related to all aspects of laboratory management. This shall include management and training of lab personnel, orientation of new lab personnel, equipment and reagent purchasing, and maintenance and travel arrangement for lab personnel. 

2.  The candidate will be responsible for the management of all lab resources in order to ensure a highly efficient lab operation. 

3.   The candidate will be responsible for handling any other lab-related matters that the PI sees appropriate, including accommodating visiting scientists and students, coordinating with other labs for equipment usage and sharing, etc.   

4.   There will also be opportunity for the candidate to be involved in research activities at all levels, ranging from experimental preparation, recruiting human subjects and data collection, and preprocessing. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

1.   Bachelor (or higher) degree in management, life sciences, veterinary science, neuroscience or a related field. 

2.   Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills in both Chinese and English. 

3.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

4.   Proficiency in using basic computer programs (including Microsoft Office). Ability to program in other languages is a plus. 

5.   Ability to work independently and efficiently, with good work ethics and with a spirit of teamwork. 

6.   Previous experience in a manager/assistant position is preferable.  

7.   Experience in laboratory methods is preferable but not required.
