Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing routine administrative work and administrative staff of the School of Management and Economics;
2. Managing budget and personnel matters, including staff recruitment and assignment, external and internal communications;
3. Coordinating academic and publicity matters, including providing support for teaching arrangements, program reviews, website creation etc.;
4. Providing support for school strategic planning;
5. Providing support for student recruitment activities;
6. Other duties as assigned by the School Dean.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A master’s degree or higher (a science/engineering background will be desirable);
2. At least 10 years of extensive administrative or relevant work experience, with at least 3 years at supervisory level, preferably in higher education sectors or international companies;
3. Excellent management and communication skills;
4. Good command of written and spoken language skills in both English and Chinese, and familiarity with basic office software;
5. Capability of working independently and as part of an integrated team in a fast-paced work environment.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
