一、研究院簡介

香港科技大學(xué)（HKUST，簡稱港科大）新成立了腦與智能研究院，現(xiàn)誠向全球招聘多名從助理教授至教授的終身制教職人員（tenure-track/tenured faculty）。歡迎從事與神經(jīng)科學(xué)相關(guān)的各領(lǐng)域人才加入我們。我們尤其歡迎從事突觸的形成、功能和神經(jīng)元回路，腦疾病機(jī)制、生物標(biāo)志物和藥物發(fā)現(xiàn)，大腦信息處理及與計算機(jī)和人工智能相結(jié)合等方面研究的人才。我們亦鼓勵優(yōu)秀人才在學(xué)校內(nèi)部以跨部門交叉學(xué)科的形式聘任。

二、應(yīng)聘條件

1.獲得相關(guān)博士學(xué)位和博士后工作經(jīng)驗，特別突出的應(yīng)屆博士畢業(yè)生亦可考慮；

2.具有國際一流的學(xué)術(shù)水平及獨立開展國際前沿研究的能力；

3.能夠承擔(dān)本科生和研究生教學(xué)任務(wù)。

Faculty Positions in Neuroscience at
The Brain and Intelligence Research Institute

The newly established Brain and Intelligence Research Institute at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in China seeks applicants for multiple tenure-track/tenured faculty positions at the rank from assistant professor to full professor. Candidates pursuing research in all areas of neuroscience are welcome to apply. These with expertise in the studies of synapse formation, function, and neuronal circuits; brain disorders mechanisms, biomarkers, and drug discoveries; information processing in the brain and in connection with computer and artificial intelligence are especially welcome. Joint appointments with other departments/thrusts of HKUST are encouraged.

HKUST is a young university with focus on research excellence. It has risen to a top ranked university in Asia in a short thirty years. Neuroscience is one of the key areas of the university with a State Key Laboratory in Molecular Neuroscience (For a list of current neuroscience faculty members, please visit: http://skl-molneurosci.ust.hk/eng/people_research.html). HKUST recently established a new campus in Guangzhou, China, with the aim to promote cross-disciplinary and synergistic research with the same level of research excellence. Qualifications of Candidates:

Applicants should have a doctoral degree and relevant postdoctoral experience. Fresh PhD with exceptional record will also be considered. They will be expected to establish an independent, internationally recognized research program and contribute to the undergraduate and graduate education.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Generous start-up funding, ample laboratory space and excellent research equipment and support will be provided. Salary is highly competitive of international standard and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
