The Mechatronic Energy Transformation Laboratory (METAL) focuses on the research topics of circuit theory, ambient kinetic energy harvesting, and power solutions for Internet of Things (IoT). More information about METAL can be referred to http://metal.shanghaitech.edu.cn. Currently METAL invited highly motivated candidates to apply for jobs in the following directions:
•Power management integrated circuit design (related knowledge includes: power electronics, IC design)
•Human factored IoT solutions (related knowledge includes: embedded system, machine learning)
•Analysis and design of electromechanically coupled energy conversion systems (related knowledge: structural dynamics, power electronics)

•Research Assistant Professor
Qualifications:
PhD degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or related areas, and at least two years research experience in the related area afterwards.
Good publication record in international journals and conferences. Candidates with research fund applying experience will be considered with priority.
Good hands-on experiences on design and testing of power circuits and/or mechatronic systems.
Good communication skills and capability to co-supervise graduate students.
Fluent in oral and written English.
•Postdoctoral Fellow
Qualifications:
PhD degree or going to get the PhD degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or related areas,within 35 years old.
Good publication record in international journals and conferences.
Good hands-on experiences on design and testing of power circuits and/or mechatronic systems.
Good communication skills and willing to help colleagues and students.
Fluent in oral and written English.
