Weill Cornell Medical College, Department of Radiology has a position available for an Engineering Postdoctoral Associate for up to 2 years in its Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging. The institute is comprised of faculty, researchers and students from the fields of engineering, computer science, epidemiology, cardiology, and radiology. The engineering team works to develop translational technologies under the guidance of the institute director, Dr. James K. Min, MD. You will work in the lab of Dr. Bobak Mosadegh, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering in Radiology whose lab is working to develop technologies for image-guidance of transcatheter cardiac procedures. The research will draw on an interdisciplinary approach with collaboration amongst engineers, computer scientists, and clinicians.

Machine Learning Computer Scientist
Duties and Responsibilities: The Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging at the Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow to develop software and utilize machine learning algorithms to automate the segmentation and registration of different image modalities. Furthermore, this position will develop software to produce 3D renderings in augmented reality displays. Previous experience with machine learning of medical images, automated image segmentation, and 3D renderings is required. Candidates with prior experience with cardiac imaging and/or processing cardiac images is not required but is recommended.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a Ph.D. in computer science, biomedical, mechanical, or other related engineering fields or equivalent.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative and professional manner, reflective of the Dalio ICI multidisciplinary culture.
