Harvard Joslin Diabetes Center
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the Schaffer lab at the Joslin Diabetes Center and Harvard Medical School in the cell biology of metabolism. Projects integrate diverse approaches to elucidate mechanisms through which abnormal levels of metabolites alter cell physiology and lead to organ damage. Areas of focus include non-canonical functions of small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs), regulated RNA degradation, translational responses to metabolic stress, and intracellular lipid trafficking. For more information on our lab and interests, visit our website at https://schafferlab.org
